Who we are
Started here, by one of our own
Kenai Peninsula Home Health and Hospice began in Soldotna, started by a local who was born and raised on the peninsula.
Our story
Our company started in a basement, between other jobs, to give better care to family, friends, former high school teachers and the rest of our community.
When the community needed skilled care at home, we opened Kenai Peninsula Home Health LLC, a Medicare-certified, ACHC-accredited home health agency. When families told us they needed support at the end of life, we opened Kenai Peninsula Hospice LLC, so no family on the peninsula would have to face that time alone. Our hospice is working toward Medicare certification and is seeking accreditation from the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP).
We are a family-first company that values Alaska’s cultures and communities. We hire local people, we care for our neighbors and we take pride in serving the Kenai Peninsula.

Kenai Peninsula Hospice LLC is guided by a tradition of personal, clinical and technological excellence. We believe that serving patients in the community setting is the most important activity of the organization. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care with compassion and respect for each person.
Home health
To provide dynamic and collaborative care that is evidence based, easily accessible and patient centered, with a focus on disease prevention, health restoration, maintenance and education.
Vision
Every person on the Kenai Peninsula who is facing the end of life can spend that time at home, comfortable and close to the people they love, no matter how far down the road they live.
We also work to help community members reach their full health and well-being across their lifespan, to build strong ties with local providers so care stays connected, and to be an active part of the Kenai Peninsula.
